5K Run/Walk-a-thon 2008

Registration

The Sickle Cell Disease…There is Hope 5k Run/Walk-a-thon will be held Saturday, September 6, 2008, at the FCCJ Downtown Campus. Registration begins at 8 a.m.

Participants registered to run in the official 5k race will be required to pay a $20 registration fee (includes t-shirt, race number and other miscellaneous items). Registration is free for walkers. The run begins at 9 a.m. and the walk begins at 9:15 a.m.

Proceeds will benefit the Pediatric Sickle Cell Program at Shands Jacksonville/Nemours Children's Clinic and the Sickle Cell Disease Association of America - Northeast Florida Chapter.
